This is a blog I started at the end of first year as a mathematics PhD student at Georgia Tech. I’m going to use this space as an informal grounds to discuss curiosities I learn during my research/teaching so that we may all benefit from the fruits of my labour.
This blog’s objective will be to talk about math in a conversational and informal style, so as to get the point across, whilst modding out the formalisms of mathematics writing. I feel that an appropriately weighted average of the two extremes is critical to math exposition; a balance of personality and rigor.
In the spirit of making math accessible, I will post content in all levels and areas of math, so that everyone may enjoy a space here, from the enthusiast to the researcher. However, there will still be topological/geometric undertones.
