I am a third year PhD student under the supervision of Professor Jennifer Hom in the School of Mathematics at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
My research is in low-dimensional topology. In particular, I use the Heegaard Floer package and its derivatives to study knots, 3- and 4-manifolds. My recent projects include studying the effects of satellite operators on concordance invariants. I also care about geometric group theory and the theory of braids. I received my BA in 2023 from Princeton University, where I was advised by Peter Ozsváth and Eden Prywes. During my time there, I swam on the Men’s Varsity Swimming and Diving team, and also founded the Princeton Billiards and Pool Club (PUBC).
My non-academic interests include billiards, various (pretty much all) athletics and math exposition. I am always around the GA Tech grad student lounge and Tech Rec shooting 8-balls, and am always open to a game! I am also a part-time DJ looking to perform around the Atlanta area.
